Cairns South Presbyterian Church
We are planting a new Presbyterian congregation in Edmonton: a church seeking to love God, love our city and love one another.
Why Cairns South?
We want to see a gospel-hearted church take root in Cairns’ southern suburbs.
Our hope is for a church where the Bible shapes our hearts and minds, children delight in being part of church, people who do not yet know Jesus remain at the front of our minds, and a warm community grows in grace, patience and love.
Our vision
Gather
We want to be clear in what we believe and deep in our convictions, with services saturated in the Bible in a way that engages both heart and mind.
We pray for a joyful children’s ministry and a church where children are known, involved and delighted to come each Sunday.
Connect
We want people who do not yet know Jesus to stay at the front of our minds. We are praying for open doors, gracious gospel conversations and people ready to receive God’s word.
We hope to build genuine bridges into local networks, community groups and families across Cairns South.
Belong
We want our oneness in Jesus to matter more than our differences: serving with grace, patience and a deep love for one another.
Our hope is for a church family where new relationships form, every generation belongs, and people look not only to their own interests but also to the interests of others.
